About me 

From the minute I picked up the saxophone for the first time at the age of 10, I knew that being a musician is what I wanted to do for the rest of my life.

Throughout my high school career, I grew as musician and earned awards such as "Most improved Jazz Musician", "The John Philip Sousa Award", and a scholarship to the eight week session at the Interlochen International Music Camp the summer after my high school graduation.  

I am now a professional musician who has been performing for 20 years in orchestra pits and back up bands for various theatre groups. i have recently established a solo jazz act in which I perform jazz standards and occasionally other jazz styles on mostly alto and tenor saxophone, but occasionally clarinet and a couple of other instruments. The Suburban Jazz Ensemble was formed in 2014.

I am eager to serve any entertainment needs you have.
Besides solo performing, I also have composed renaissance music, saxophone quartets, and jazz standards and served as actor, director, and orchestra conductor for various local theatre groups.
I received a BA. in Music with a Journalism minor from Western Michigan University, Kalamazoo, MI. and own a music education business called Concerto Music for which I provide band and piano lessons.

INVERSION

The new form of our group is Inversion. Inversion includes Saxophone, piano, bass, and drums. We can be booked as a duo, trio, or quartet and I am available to do solo performances with background tracks.
